Our Role
IFE performed the geotechnical engineering investigation for the project. Key issues included artificial fill and other non-uniform soil consistencies near the surface of the site.

- Observation and documentation of foundation excavation
- Soil testing for maximum-density, expansion, classification, corrosion, and R-value
- Concrete compressive strength testing
- Reinforced concrete inspection and test cylinder fabrication
- Structural steel welding inspection (shop and field) and ultrasonic testing
- Reinforced masonry inspection
- Masonry compressive strength testing of block, prisms, mortar, and grout
