Project Summary
Cahuilla Band of Indians (2015-2019)
The new Cahuilla Casino is located on State Route 371 in the town of
Anza, California. The four story hotel has 58 rooms with mountain
views. The new casino occupies 28,000 sq.ft. with a full bar,
restaruant, ample parking and new 165,000 gallon water storage tank.
Additional facilities are a gas station, mini mart with kitchen and solar
array farm.
IFE Role
IFE performed a geotechnical investigation and an on site waste water treatment system
(OWTS) design for the project. The OWTS included a system that was equiped to handle the
future expansion and growth of the casino. Geotechnical evaluation included review of
subsurface materials, laboratory test results, foundation design, lateral resistance, earth
pressure and general site grading recommendations.
